Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond by Brad Lancaster

Giveaway of Brad’s Newly Released Book, “Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond, Volume 1, 2nd Edition”

Volume 1 e2 Cover.inddFrom September 25 to October 8, 2013, I’ll be conducting an autographed-book giveaway for U.S.-based book readers on the website GoodReads. (Note: To get in the running for one of 5 free copies, you’ll first need to become a member at www.GoodReads.com, but this is super quick and easy.)

Please sign up if you are interested! Note that this giveaway, the second one I’ve tried, is limited to people with mailing addresses within the United States.

What’s more, if you’ve read and enjoyed any of my books, please consider writing a review on the GoodReads site, Amazon, and/or any other such site, as this really helps the books get more exposure—which greatly helps to get further out into the world the information and practice of slowing, spreading, and sinking harvested water.

You can also use this link to “Friend” or “Fan” me on my GoodReads author page—or just enter my name in the website’s search box.

If all goes continues to go well, I’ll likely do a couple more GoodReads giveaways in the near future, so check back.

Thanks so much for your interest and support!

  1. Stewart Spada Says:

I’m in California and am just starting my research into rainwater harvesting. I hope to become a resource for my west coast friends and family.

  2. Pam Kirpalani Says:

After having attended Brad’s fabulous presentation to Master Gardeners of San Diego, I’ve had a consultation with the City of Poway in hopes that Poway will become another small city in California leading the way toward sustainable landscape and water stewardship. Having passed Vol 1 on to my Councilman for reference, I need to order two more copies!

  3. Megan Says:

Thank you, Pam, both for spreading the word about water harvesting in general, and for your support of Brad’s work in particular! Your books will go out later this week or early next week, after Brad returns from a work trip. –Megan (Brad’s assistant)

  4. Elizabeth Says:

Today is September 27. Even though it is between September 25 and October 8 when it indicates above that there is an autographed-book giveaway, the inset which contains the “Enter to win” button says that the giveaway is over.

  5. Megan Says:

Elizabeth — thanks for your question! We’re new at this and didn’t realize we had to re-program the button. It’s fixed now, though!

  6. Jerome Says:

Hi, Brad, I enjoyed and learned much from your 1st books, but wondered why my library didn’t have Vol. 3. Now I understand. I’d very much like a copy when it’s ready, is there an advance list of some kind that I could get on? I’d even beta-test it for you (I’m picky about grammar and punctuation, and order of presentation), if that would help any.

  7. Jerome Says:

    Sorry, I mis-typed, it’s klamathsustainablecommunities.org.

  8. Megan Says:

Jerome: Brad’s assistant, Megan, here. That’s great that you’ve found Brad’s first 2 books to be so helpful! However, Volume 3 does not exist yet, even in “beta” form, and it will be at least a couple years if not longer before Brad writes it. If you email me at admin@harvestingrainwater.com, that would be the best way to get your other question on my docket for a future meeting with Brad. Thanks, and take care, Megan
