Across North America, neighborhoods, schools, community groups, and grassroots organizations are using green infrastructure methods to make their communities more livable and sustainable, including rain gardens, bioretention basins, vegetated swales, street trees, and rainwater harvesting
Community-driven approaches to green infrastructure provide unique benefits to communities including education, public buy-in, community development, and vital energy.  In this interactive webinar, we’ll explore the benefits and challenges of community-driven approaches to green infrastructure through case studies from three North American cities, and a moderated discussion with questions from the audience.
Speakers include:
Bryant Smith, Parks & People Foundation, Baltimore MD
Marty Dolan, Tupper Neighbourhood Greenway, Vancouver BC
