In the Australian Outback everyone does it. In the Sonoran Desert the rain in vain falls mainly down the drain. Visit a selection of sites including private homes, neighborhood streets, the Community Food Bank’s garden and a commercial site to study the myriad strategies for capturing rainwater. Calculate how much water can be collected off of your roof and property and how to divert and store water in both cisterns and in earthworks.
