The point of the project on Back Road is to effectively drain the dirt road of storm water, while creating a stable location to channel the water down a steep slope, preserving existing native vegetation, and harvest this storm water in a food growing backyard habitat.  This will be a hands on project that will help restore a portion of a watercourse that traverses through the center of town and teach about an effective rock erosion control structure.  This watershed restoration project will help meet goals of the Oasis Group.
