Rockworks & Earthworks: Applied Watershed Restoration Portrait Spoonholtz
Turning landscape water problems into solutions…

Watershed Restoration emphasizes working with, rather than against, nature to work effectively with our most precious resource: water. Using agro-ecological principles, Craig Sponholtz has become internationally renowned for his ability to transform eroding gullies and barren landscapes into lush islands of native vegetation that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but capable of feeding people, livestock and wildlife.
Craig’s Applied Watershed Restoration course covers fascinating topics such as: reading the landscape, erosion, soil conservation, water harvesting rockworks & earthworks and cutting edge watershed restoration methods including natural channel design and induced meandering.

  • Evening Presentation, TBA
