Join Great Basin PermacultureGreat Basin Permaculture and Brad Lancaster for a one-day seminar in water harvesting and conservation!
WHAT:
A one-day seminar on the most important issue challenging our community’s vitality. Brad Lancaster, a leading authority in the water-conservation movement, will teach Las Vegans how to achieve more with less—moving the discussion beyond typical restrictions to topics such as rainwater harvesting, designing for resilience, and earthwork construction.

10 am – 5 pm:  Presentations, breakout sessions, roundtable discussions. Lunch will be served.

Downtown Construction Zone

WHY:
Finding new ways to live sustainably is an imperative to keeping our community healthy and strong. Recently, the Colorado River was named the most endangered in the country, and the Bureau of Reclamation recently released a report forecasting severe water loss due to climate change. This seminar will be packed with strategies attendees can implement immediately. Lancaster will teach specific pathways to resilience; for instance, how to use greywater for landscaping… and make it legal—as it already is in our surrounding states!
