Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond by Brad Lancaster

Greywater Happy Hour: with Brad Lancaster in Austin TX

May 30, 2009
7:00 pmto8:30 pm

Greywater, generally described as water from washing machines, showers and bathtubs, and handsinks, is a potential source of secondary, or reclaimed, water. Why send water down the drain when it can be safely introduced to the landscape through various earthworks and strategies? State and local regulations sometimes put certain restrictions on the use of greywater, but Brad will describe some of the strategies that have been employed in various jurisdictions. (The June 17 monthly DBL presentation will specifically address Central Texas area regulations.)

Beer (not greywater!) and light snacks will be served. Book sales and signing.
