Join us on November 16th – 17th, 2007, for the Keyline
Design Course.

The course will take place at Dancing Rocks
Permaculture community just northwest of Tucson ,
Arizona , a well developed permaculture site that
demonstrates water harvesting, drylands gardening,
active and passive solar design, composting toilets,
and a range of earth-building techniques.

·     This course is facilitated by the,
Phoenix Permaculture Guild, and the Sonoran
Permaculture Guild of Tucson .

Together we will bring renowned Keyline Designer,
developer and manager Darren J. Doherty from Australia

Develop your land to its greater potential while
increasing Production, Drought-Proofing, Soil Creation
& Carbon Sequestration, and do it Quickly & Cheaply
using the Keyline Design technique.

The Two Day Class will cover -
·        History of Keyline Design,
·        Scales of permanence,
·        Keyline Design applications,
·        Low tech cartography,
·        Low-med survey equipment,
·        Site analysis techniques,
·        Broadacre soil improvement,
·        Keyline soil renovation and pattern
cultivation,
·                    Keyline design water harvesting
and earthworks.

Cost for the 2-day workshop is $250, which includes
meals and onsite accommodations for the first 12
students who request it. On-site accommodations
consist of inside cots (10) or camping (2).
Accommodations are rustic, with composting toilet and
unheated and uncooled classroom building that doubles
as a bunk house overnight.  Bring your own bedding and
toiletries. Because this is an active permaculture
site, there is no smoking, and no pets. Registration
